Welcome!  Our aim is to provide information to Scottish Dancing Enthusiasts, be they permanently or temporarily based on the Cote d'Azur, or just browsing.  On the site, you will find a brief history of the club, our objectives, directions to find us, and a list of our officials.  There is also a short list of forthcoming events, a photo gallery of past activities, a few useful links and some miscellaneous information.

Scottish Country Dancing is probably the most popular form of folk dancing - it is danced in most countries in the world. and by all age groups too.  This means that if you leave your area permanently or temporarily, you are sure to find a club elsewhere.

To date we have a good regular membership but we are always looking to grow and we welcome new members of all nationalities, as well as temporary visitors to the area.  There are various Club activities during the season.  We run formal and informal Dances, we organise an Annual Burns' Supper Dance, an End of Term Christmas Dance in December, and also an End of Season Barbecue in June.

For those who want to improve their dancing skills, we often run Workshops with invited teachers.  This also gives the chance to meet dancers from other groups:  Montpellier, Valence, Grenoble, Monaco, Imperia and Milan, to mention those nearest to our region.

Regular Wednesday evening sessions are held, and the dance season runs from September to December and from January to June.  Tuition is given in basic dancing and technique - you do not need a partner so there is no problem to come alone if you want to. Call one of us, bring enthusiasm and a pair of soft shoes - you will be made very welcome!
